A women’s clinic has been set up just outside the Moria refugee camp on Lesvos, with a drop-in day centre. Faithful, compassionate volunteers are needed to help run the centre, providing for women’s and children’s needs. Either English or Greek skills would be very useful, and the willingness to learn basic Arabic or Farsi.
Support a project seeking to raise awareness of trafficking and reach out to those working on the streets, offering emotional support, advocacy or training in alternative job skills. Experienced workers are needed who can bring their skills and enhance what is already being done to show and speak of God’s love.
One ministry works with displaced and traumatised refugees on the Greek island of Lesbos. If you have a heart for those fleeing war or persecution, come and help us serve them practically and spiritually! Many skills can be used: outreach, discipleship, logistics, co-ordination.
